The delivery and after care to get the foal started is extremely important, some people just get lucky, but when you don't it is nice to have experienced hands involved.
We are also proud to have Equine Services Hospital, Dr Scott Bennett and Dr Richard Griffin overseeing our veterinarian needs. They have a full service state of the art center, including expert surgery and reproduction program including embryo transfer. In fact Dr Scott Bennett performed the first successful embryo transfer of a Zebra into a buckskin recipient mare back in the 80's and a healthy Zebra baby was born here at the Louisville Zoo.

K2 Advanced Equine is a small farm located in Campbellsburg, Kentucky. We are developing our farm to be custom to what we love showing and foaling quality AQHA and APHA Halter Horses! We will limit our numbers as to provide more attention and quality service to the horse.
We have over 40 years experience with horses and have extensive knowledge of breeding and foaling. Here at K2 Advance Equine, we understand the importance of quality care which begins with feed and proper nutrition to the broodmare, the factory. You can not expect to start your nutrition after the foal is born or just in the last 30 days of gestation and expect to have a healthy quality foal, yet alone, one you expect to go to the show pen successfully.
Here at K2 Advanced Equine we pride ourselves on the handling of the mares making a secure and comfortable environment prior to foaling. Horses know when they have a dependable person caring for them. Happy mama equals a happy baby.
